Visitors can experience throughout a clean and circular flow, the relation between structure and architecture – open and enclosed spaces according to the hierarchy of the different functions in the building.
The main exhibition sits between two enclosed functional gables and features the salmon tank and the fishing net. The net, a fishing feature, is brought to the project as a ludic and playful element where visitors can walk, relax and play over the main exhibition space.

Ure Visitor Center
The visitor center takes place in Ure, Lofoten, surrounded by beautiful views to the mountains and water. The project aims to be a result of an interpretation of the many unique local features, ranging from the fishing culture to the landscape. These elements were translated into different features in the design: from shape and structure to materials and cladding that are economic and easy to build.
