By elevating the scale where the existing 'brygge' is placed, we create a new landmark. The building draws inspiration from traditional Nothjell with exposed construction and a floating first floor that accommodates public areas with market and seating decks by the water. The façade is planned with a system of sliding panels to create a dynamic expression as it will always be changed in its different possibilities. The first and second floors are dedicated to housing with two bedrooms apartments facing the water.

The other residential units are planned in connection with the lower scale of the traditional Norwegian fishing cabins. The construction is modular and allows flexibility for having bigger or smaller units, as well as annexes to be used as galleries and ateliers for rent or private use.
