VALRYGG has worked with a labyrinthine framework to create the current exhibition for Helgeland Museum at Grønnsvik Kystfort in Norway. The exhibithion is a story from the second world war where visitors follow a local young boy through 8 acts. The light structure in the dark hall guides visitors through the story told by text and drawings supported by relevant objects collected by the museum.
The framework in oak holds a white fabric which is filtering the light and creates an atmosphere with different thickness of layers and volume. The story is printed directly on the fabric, and serves as a backdrop for objects, photography and other writings from the war.
